Just recently, a former classmate from Mannheim American High School in Mannheim, Germany sent me an email. In this email to me, and others on her email list, she let us know about Cleaning for A Reason Foundation a free professional maid and housekeeping services for female cancer patients. This was of special interest to me, since I have and have had friends with cancer and my sister recently died from various types of cancer.

In her email, it states

If you know any woman currently undergoing Chemo, please pass the word to her that there is a cleaning service that provides FREE housecleaning – 1 time per month for 4 months while she is in treatment.

Mystery shopping sounds interesting, intriguing and thrilling. I have pondered mystery shopping and even applied for a position online; only to find myself too far out in the woods with no fueling resources to do the online mystery job scene. Otherwise, I do not know much about this amazingly secret whodunit adventure with the exception of what I have read online. However, the job seems a simple enough procedure to be paid to do for various companies and enterprises near you.

It seems that there are many companies that want to know what things are like on a day-to-day basis with their individual outlets around the country. Since it must be difficult for such companies to know exactly how things are running in each of their outlets because as we all know; when the boss is around, everyone minds their Ps & Qs.

Product Review – Mazola Original Canola and Sunflower Cooking Spray

Our family has been using various types of cooking sprays since they entered the marketplace. Cooking sprays are so much easier to use than having to add grease to a pan. It is easy to use by following the manufacturer’s directions; you simply point the spray nozzle in the direction that you want to cover in a pan while cooking to keep foods from sticking to the pan. Easy to use and cuts down on all the mess of having to manually add grease or oil to any type of cooking surface.

I was shopping one day and do try to get what I need as well as pick up things I know I am running short on at the house. I found this can of Mazola Original Naturally Cholesterol Free Canola and Sunflower cooking spray on the grocery shelf along with a couple of other brands that we have used in the past. I noticed that this product was even cheaper than the non-brand or store-brand product, which is the reason I chose to purchase the product, perhaps it was on sale that day. However, since it was cheaper I figured that I would give it a try to see how well it works.

Product Review: X-Presso Monster Hammer Espresso Energy

I was out to the store not so long ago to buy one of the Java Monster coffee energy drinks when I found them sold out. I was trying to decide which of the other flavors I might try when a small slender can with a dark wood grain pattern caught my eye. It was over near the rim of the cooler almost hidden from view. I reached for the X-Presso Monster Hammer espresso energy drink and looked at it. Espresso sounded good, so I decided to try it.

I am not sure why, but for some reason the can seems to be just the right size to make you think it may need a shake. However, do not shake this little slim can of the X-Presso Monster Hammer espresso energy drink, since you may just wear some of it. This espresso energy in a can includes Nitrous Oxide. I did not know that to begin when I bought the drink. I just wanted a cold coffee, they were out of both the Loca Moca and the Nut-Up Java Monster coffee energy drinks and espresso sounded good that morning. I repeat do not shake the X-Presso Monster Hammer espresso energy drink.

Product Review: Java Monster Coffee Energy

Have you tried the Java Monster Coffee Energy drinks yet? They come in an assortment of flavors such as Mean Bean, Big Black, Russian, Lo-Ball, Chai Hai, Irish Blend, Loca Moca and Nut-Up.

I have always been a slow drinker when it comes to coffee; I have no problem drinking cold coffee. Members of my family have either curled their lip or thought me strange since I like cold coffee and have no problem drinking my coffee after it gets cold. Do you like drinking cold coffee drinks? If so, you may want to try some of these great Java Monster coffee energy drinks.

Product Review – Hills Bros. Cappuccino Drink Mix

I love to drink coffee drinks when they taste good. I especially enjoy drinking hot coffee drinks during the cooler weather of fall and winter. I recently purchased a 16 ounce container of Hills Bros. Cappuccino drink mix, English Toffee flavor, while grocery shopping. I had never tried this particular brand of coffee drinks; however, I do know that Hills Bros. coffee is very popular here in the south. It is the chosen brand for just about all the convenience stores in the area or at least the stores I have visited.

Generally, when I choose a coffee drink mix it is International Coffee, one of the more popular brands of coffee drink mixes, which I enjoy some of their flavors as well. However, this brand was a bit cheaper and something new in the store where I do my grocery shopping, so I figured I would give it a try, just to see what it taste like.

Product Review: Country Time Pink Lemonade

Some times the kids get tired of drinking Kool-Aid products, believe it or not and sometimes while shopping you try to get the most for you money or try to stretch a dollar further. While shopping the local Wal-Mart I found a very large 5 pound 2.5 ounce container of Country Time Pink Lemonade. It makes 136 servings and costs about $8.00 a can, but still a good bargain when you consider that for that price you will only get about 40 servings of Kool-Aid.

I do believe that you can find Country Time lemonade drink mix in smaller containers if you prefer. I just figure with the way the kids love to have a nice cold drink and love the way this particular drink mix tastes that I would get what they like in a bulk purchase as well as save money in the long run.

Product Recall: H1N1 Swine Flu Vaccine for Children

Back in April of this year the world watched as the officials in the United States Departments of Health and Homeland Security declared a public health emergency because of a deadly outbreak of swine flu or H1N1. Accordingly, various institutions were closed, including public schools. Several people and families were quarantined to reduce the possibility of spreading the virus to others.

I remember thinking I wish school would get out earlier than usual because of this virus outbreak. I also remember wondering why in the world was not a single country simply quarantined. The answer to this question seemed to lie within economics. I remember wondering why individuals and families did not have the good sense to quarantine their own selves, sick or not.

Product Review – Sunbeam Fan-Forced Heater (Compact Design)

I have to admit that I enjoy coolness of autumn and spring. Summertime gets terribly hot down here in the humid south and winters just get too cold for many individuals living down south.

I have been using oil radiator heaters and I like them much better than coil element heaters. They are easy to use and not so much worry about fire hazards. I have two, one in a bedroom at the far end of the house and another in the living room. They were enough to heat a good bit of our living area. However, I needed something for my bedroom. I had picked up another radiator heater and was strolling away when this smaller less expensive, compact design fan-forced heater caught my eye.

While shopping at the local WalMart, I found this Sunbeam fan-forced heater, model #SFH090. It is small and compact with overheat protection, cool touch and it is a manual model. It was only $9.00, plus tax, which is a good deal I do believe, especially while considering how cold it may get.

Product Review: TRESemme 2 IN 1 Shampoo Plus Conditioner

TRESemme as a hair care brand name began back in the late 1940s and was marketed initially to hair salons rather to the general public. However, in the late 1980s, Alberto-Culver who owns the Alberto VO5 brand name, purchased TRESemme. Although many hair salons continue to use TRESemme to help repair the damage caused by the heat of blow-drying or hair ironing, it is available to the general public for their use as well.

I really like using TRESemme multi-vitamin 2 IN1 for normal hair shampoo plus conditioner and here I will tell you why.

First, you may like to know that I am one of those individuals who enjoys growing long, super thick luxurious hair. I do consider my hair to be one of my better qualities, it is straight and one of the lighter shades of golden ginger. It grows rather fast on its own. However, I did learn from my great-grandmother and a family full of farmers that the best time to trim or cut your hair is during a new moon, and choosing a water new moon is the best choice for a trim that results in fast growing time. Now, some may not want to believe that trimming hair during a new moon, most particularly a water new moon in either Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces to achieve a long luxurious growth of hair faster. However, I have tested this on my own and know for a fact it is possible, at least for me.
